Calligrapher’s Jumper, Kells Skirt, Modal Layer Top
I hope your new January is already showing you all a happy and healthy, peaceful 2015.
I just had the chance to try on our wonderful Calligrapher’s Jumper…it fits great and layers beautifully over a simple modal top…Worn with either skirt or pant, or leggings worn with high boots.
The fabric is a medium weight linen rayon.. I describe it as a drapey, flowy, smooth, (not linen-like to the touch) …the perfect amount of weightiness to allow the voluminous hemline its full drama. It is a special piece, one to wear to occasions for years to come. It stands on its own and flatters, more fitted through the bust with a nice V neckline and A-lining out to the wide, hi-low hemline.
I like it best when worn with it’s companion piece, the Kells Skirt, which is made from comfy hugging cotton lycra from the waist down to the same linen-rayon fabric that falls downwards from the knee. I want to put on my nicest boots and go out. Somewhere fantastic. Where everyone will admire my new ensemble.
Remember, I am only 5’5, this works perfectly on me and I can imagine it looking great on a range from 5′ worn with a little heel, on up to 6′ quite easily. The skirt can be adjusted in length due to the comfortable organic cotton lycra waistband which you can wear higher or lower.
